The world is waiting for something new, the continues reuse of art and putting your twist on something is not enough. It is imperative to teach the importance of creativity at a young age, in order to inspire a new generation of artists. Visual literacy is now considered a need, no longer just an option on how you can teach if you choose. Interpreting a piece of art and what they want you to see and focus on will give the next generation of a critical analytical eye. This means not only understanding the art but making decisions based on the actual art. Some schools may not participate in this new technology provided and the new way of learning by that nature they are putting their students at a disadvantage over the kids who are learning this way. The hardest part about this integration of learning will be the adoption made by the educators, much doubt may be placed on its effectiveness and may be seen as non important. To get the educators to adopt the importance, effectiveness, and results must be emphasized. The results especially but to get these results students must go through the learning and be evaluated before and after which is a lot of work and analytics. As technology is rapidly evolving there many be other more effective ways to teach visual literacy but the topic of adding this to the curriculum is essential to give every kid a fair chance. I do wish that this was an option when I was in school I feel it would have been very beneficial.
