The Net.Art movement seems like the transition that was needed to move to pop-art that is made with popular pictures on the internet. Many people had issues with it and did not want to give it the title of fine art. The internet is supposed to be a place where anyone and anything can be posted and appreciated by someone, not somewhere where you criticize a style or new form of art. The internet is accepting in few places and ruthless in most others and that is the reality my generation grew up with. This was more than a movement.
